The Saskatoon International FolkDance Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes dancing from countries and ethnic regions around the world. They are a recreational club that meets weekly and they welcome anyone interested in folk dancing.
The club has over 700 dances from 43 countries in their repertoire and follows a varied program to meet the diverse needs of their members who vary widely in age, interests, and background. Along with good physical exercise, folk dancing also provides cultural enrichment which helps us to appreciate the heritage of our ancestors.
