The Russian Junior Folk Group represents the Saskatoon Russian Folk Center. The group was created in April 2014 on the basis of the Russian Language School of Saskatoon to encourage our kids and share our cultural heritage with the community. We perform traditional Russian, Ukrainian and Russian Gypsy songs and dances and appear at various Saskatchewan cultural events.

Welcome to the 2023 Heritage Festival of Saskatoon, celebrating Saskatoon and area’s civic, natural, cultural, and artistic heritage, and featuring events on Feb 12, 15, and 16th.
This year’s festival theme is The River. An element of our natural heritage, it is ever flowing, both constant and changing. For as long as people have been, and will be here, their activity is reflected in its waters.

The Heritage Festival of Saskatoon is held on Treaty Six Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. This is the traditional territory of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Dakota and Nakota First Nations and the Métis people.
