Festival-goers are invited to take part in the Parade!
If you’d like to join us in the parade, please go to Butler Byers Century Hall at 12:15 pm and meet near the Hall entrance where the parade signs are. We will be handing out small flags to those taking part in the parade.
Bagpiper Andrew Whiting heads the parade, followed by RCMP veterans, the Canadian Red Ensign Flag, Folkfest Ambassadors, Folk perfomers, and festival-goers. It will answer the call of the First Nations drum by winding through the Museum and ceremonially conclude at the Boomtown Stage.
