Each year the Festival features heritage activities throughout the Museum:

Watch for costumed Museum Interpreters throughout the Museum!
12 – 5 pm Saskatoon Railroad Modelers BIG Train
The giant model train display will be set up for viewer’s enjoyment!
1 – 4 pm Pioneer Demonstrations: At various times throughout the afternoon, keep your eyes open for pioneer demonstrations such as rope making, wheat grinding, blacksmithing, “home skills”, and more!
Welcome to the 2023 Heritage Festival of Saskatoon, celebrating Saskatoon and area’s civic, natural, cultural, and artistic heritage, and featuring events on Feb 12, 15, and 16th.
This year’s festival theme is The River. An element of our natural heritage, it is ever flowing, both constant and changing. For as long as people have been, and will be here, their activity is reflected in its waters.

The Heritage Festival of Saskatoon is held on Treaty Six Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. This is the traditional territory of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Dakota and Nakota First Nations and the Métis people.
