Activities in Saskatchewan Hall:
Begins 12:00 pm Festival Parade: Gather at 11:50 pm in Saskatchewan Hall Follow the North Saskatchewan Regiment Pipes & Drums as they lead you in an indoor parade through the Museum! To join in the fun, come to Saskatchewan Hall at 11:45 pm to get your free parade gear and get set to parade in style!
12:00 – 2:00 pm SaskTel Remai Modern Art Caravan: Program guides lead fabulous and fun art-making activities for kids ages 4 – 12.
12:00 – 2:30 pm Fantastic Facepainting
2:00 – 5:00 pm Wanuskewin Heritage Park: Wanuskewin leaders show Traditional Games and teach about Northern Plains Technology: The Bison.
2:30 – 5:00 pm Balloon Funn with Warren: Warren has been twisting balloons for 17 years and entertains at hundreds of different events every year. Using multiple balloons in his designs, Warren’s repertoire includes characters, wearable creations, and more! Come and see why he is called “Saskatoon’s Best Balloon Twister”. www.balloonfunn.com
Activities in Boomtown & around the Museum:
12 – 5 pm 1910 Costumes
1 – 4 pm Keep your eyes open for Heritage Demonstrations all around the Museum throughout the afternoon! You may find rope making, blacksmithing, “home skills”, and more!
12:00 – 5:00 pm Seed Survivor: The display is open to all ages and the activities are focused on grades 3-6 curriculum. Features a sunflower planting station & a virtual reality game (available to play only for those age 8 plus). www.seedsurvivor.com
