Saskatoon International Folkdance Club
The Saskatoon International Folkdance Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes dancing from countries and ethnic regions around the world. A recreational club that meets weekly, anyone interested in folk dancing is welcome.
The club has over 700 dances from 43 countries in their repertoire and follows a varied program to meet the diverse needs of their members who vary widely in age, interests, and background. Along with good physical exercise, folk dancing also provides cultural enrichment which helps us to appreciate the heritage of our ancestors. The club invites everyone to discover the world, communing through the common language of dance.
