
Keegan Isaac and the Itsy Bitsy Big Band is a Saskatchewan-based group, that performs a mix of jazz standards, original music, and reimagined pop songs that harken from the golden age of entertainment. Delivered by a 6 -13 piece ensemble, and led by the Sinatra-esque vocal stylings of Keegan Isaac, the mission of the Itsy Bitsy Big Band is to foster an appreciation of Big Band Music in Western Canada, whether it’s somebody who’s listened to big band music their whole life, or someone who’s experiencing it for the very first time.
Keegan Isaac is an 22-year old Canadian singer, songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist from North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Keegan studies Music at the University of Saskatchewan, where he is the manager, vocalist, and lead trombonist with the USASK Jazz Ensemble.
Keegan has performed and arranged music for various ensembles including the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra, Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, USASK Wind Orchestra, USASK Jazz Ensemble and has performed alongside Juno-award winning jazz artists, Caity Gyorgy, PJ Perry, Denzal Sinclaire, and Alastair Kay.
Keegan founded The Itsy Bitsy Big Band in August of 2024, with a debut concert in Meota Saskatchewan. The group’s first concert was a fundraiser for the Battlefords Union Hospital Cancer Centre, which raised $11,650. The group has since performed on the mainstage at the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, the Broadway Theatre, TeleMiracle 49, and numerous private events across Saskatchewan.
