A performance with singer, songwriter Jack Walton is a diverse and eclectic experience. His original material is designed for the occasion and when he adds his musical friends to the mix audiences are treated to a dynamic experience.
His unique blending of guitar and voice with occasional scatting and whistling creates a warm and colourful experience. His songs have come from many directions, travelled many varied musical roads including roots, blues, progressive folk and a jazzy swing that is sometimes contagious.
Jack’s imagery is a reflection of a vast and diverse Canadian landscape, some real and some imagined.
From a seawall on Vancouver Island, to a beach on the Northumberland Strait
Canoeing a pristine northern lake or riding the rails north of Lake Superior,
Catching a sunset on Shediac Bay or grooving to some hogtown dixieland
When not creating & performing music, Jack is a writer, documentary filmmaker and producer.
