Elijah Mortson has been playing the trombone for over 10 years and will be graduating with a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the University of Saskatchewan this fall.
She is an up-and-coming member in the Saskatoon brass community, playing in a variety of ensembles, including the University of Saskatchewan Wind Orchestra, University of Saskatchewan Concert Band, Saskatoon Youth Orchestra, and the Saskatoon Philharmonic Orchestra.
Her ever-growing collection of brass instruments currently includes 2 tenor trombones, one with an F-attachment, an alto trombone, a soprano trombone, and a cimbasso, which she plays exclusively in the University of Saskatchewan Concert Band. She is looking forward to showcasing the cimbasso at our Variety Night!
