Welcome to the 2024 Heritage Festival of Saskatoon, celebrating Saskatoon and area’s civic, natural, cultural, and artistic heritage, and featuring events on Feb 4, 7, and 8th. The 2024 festival theme is “Our Common Ground”, referring not just to the physical earth in Saskatoon, but with an emphasis on the interests, beliefs, and opinions that we share and agree upon.
We’re thrilled to welcome exhibitors and guests to our 36th annual festival! Each year, numerous local and provincial heritage organizations, groups, and individuals in Saskatoon gather to share their knowledge & enthusiasm with the public.

This year’s festival features three events, with FREE ADMISSION to all!
Sunday, February 4th features another traditional Festival Day celebration at the Western Development Museum. This fun, family event runs from 12 – 5 PM with live entertainment, heritage exhibits, kids’ activities, and more!
Mark your calendars on Wednesday, Feb 7th, for a Special Evening Event in our Speaker Series at McNally Robinson Booksellers, beginning at 7 PM.
On Thursday, February 8th, our Heritage Variety Night begins live at The Roxy Theatre at 7 PM. Join host City Archivist Jeff O’Brien for this entertaining evening!
