Join Wanuskewin as they share the Plains Cree style tipi teachings gifted to Wanuskewin Elder Mary Lee, and the life lessons that go along with each pole, while you help set up a tipi.
Welcome to the 2023 Heritage Festival of Saskatoon, celebrating Saskatoon and area’s civic, natural, cultural, and artistic heritage, and featuring events on Feb 12, 15, and 16th.
This year’s festival theme is The River. An element of our natural heritage, it is ever flowing, both constant and changing. For as long as people have been, and will be here, their activity is reflected in its waters.
For 35 years, the Heritage Festival of Saskatoon has delighted, informed, and entertained visitors.
“A fun way to learn more about our past and what shapes our city today.”
~ Raeanne Van Beek
