The Cameroonian Youth Dancers are a group of kids ranging in age from 5 to 12 years old. They perform at Saskatoon Folkfest and deeply engage with the discovery and learning of their cultural heritage. These boys and girls are proud to share it with their community, particularly during this Black History Month.
Welcome to the 2023 Heritage Festival of Saskatoon, celebrating Saskatoon and area’s civic, natural, cultural, and artistic heritage, and featuring events on Feb 12, 15, and 16th.
This year’s festival theme is The River. An element of our natural heritage, it is ever flowing, both constant and changing. For as long as people have been, and will be here, their activity is reflected in its waters.
